Muni Strings Is Expanding!
After 15 wonderful years in beautiful downtown Winter Park, Muni Strings is moving to a new and expanded location in Oviedo!
Starting July 8th, 2025, you’ll find us at:

This move marks a big step forward for us and for the musicians we serve. Our new shop is twice the size of our Winter Park location, offering more space, better access, and enhanced services for our customers. We’re excited to grow with our community and continue our mission of helping people find their sound in a space designed to meet their needs.
Why the Move?
While we’ve loved our time in downtown Winter Park and are deeply grateful for the memories and relationships formed there, several practical factors made it clear it was time to expand:

Increased traffic and limited parking made visiting us more difficult for many of our customers

Most importantly, we had outgrown the space—and our work, our customers, and our instruments deserve room to thrive.
What’s New in Oviedo?
Our new shop in Mallory Square offers some major upgrades, including:

Dedicated parking right outside the front door

A private trial room for uninterrupted instrument exploration

Multiple instrument viewing rooms to make shopping more comfortable

A workshop that is four times larger, allowing us to take on more repairs and restorations

A clean, accessible layout that’s easier for families and students to navigate
This move will allow us to serve musicians more efficiently and comfortably, while also giving us room to grow our selection of instruments and accessories.
We are still the same family-run shop, built on a foundation of care, craftsmanship, and community. But now we’ll have the space to do more of what we love—supporting musicians of all ages with instruments they can trust.
